Biography

Dr. Abdelkefi earned his Ph.D. in Engineering Mechanics from the Department of Engineering Science and Mechanics at Virginia Tech in 2012 and a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tunisia Polytechnic School in 2009. His research interests are in the fields of nonlinear dynamics, aeroelasticity, energy harvesting, perturbation techniques, experimental identification, reduced-order modeling, vibration and control, and fluid-structure interactions. He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Engineering Science and Mechanics at Virginia Tech.
