Biography

M. Valle received the M.S. degree in Electronic Engineering in 1985 and the Ph.D. degree in Electronic and Computer Science Engineering in 1990 from the University of Genova, Italy. From 1992 to 2006 he was assistant professor, from January 2007 to October 2019 he was associate professor and from November 2019 he is Full Professor in Electronic Engineering at the Department of Electrical, Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Genova.
Dr. Valle is co-author of more than 250 articles on international scientific journals and conference proceedings. His research interests include material integrated sensing systems, tactile sensors and e-skin systems, microelectronic embedded systems, wireless sensors networks. He is IEEE senior member.
