Biography
Dr. Ming Kuang is a professor from Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery, and director of Division of Interventional Ultrasound, The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. He has been dedicated to clinical work in hepatobiliary surgery for 11 years. Besides open surgery, he has successfully performed ablation for more than 1500 patients. Dr. Kuang has published many articles about liver cancer ablation and immunotherapy in “Clinical Cancer Research” and “Radiology”. He achieved major 6 grants from the government. As a main participant, he was honored with 2008 China Medical Science Awards 2nd prize and 2008 Guangdong Province Medical Science Awards 2nd prize. Therefore, Dr. Kuang is nowadays one of the major experts in the field of tumor ablation in China. He is faculty of ECIO and APCIO since 2009, and vice chairman of Interventional ultrasound and Tumor Ablation Cooperation Committee in Chinese Medical Doctor Association.
