Biography

Jafar Rezaei is Professor of Decision Science at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft). He did his Ph.D. at the faculty of Technology, Policy and Management (TPM), TU Delft. He has a background in Operations Research. His main research interests are multi-objective and multi-criteria decision-making and their applications in supply chain management, logistics, and healthcare. He has published in several peer-reviewed journals, such as the International Journal of Production Economics, the International Journal of Production Research, Expert Systems with Applications, Applied Soft Computing, Applied Mathematical Modelling, Europen Journal of Operational research, and Omega.
In 2015 he developed the Best-Worst Multi-Criteria Decision-Making Method (BWM).
He is the founding Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Supply Chain Management Science, and Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis.
