Biography

Pedro Santos Coelho is Professor of Hydrology, Hydraulics and Water Quality Modelling at NOVA University Lisbon, School of Sciences and Technology, and researcher at MARE, Marine and Environmental Sciences Centre. He holds a PhD on Environmental Engineering, a Master on Hydraulics and Water Resources and a Graduation on Environmental Engineering. Is research activity is focused in water resources issues, namely water resources planning, water quality mathematical modelling and hydrological modelling. Participated and was responsible for several research projects, namely in the areas of water resources management and water quality modelling. Published two books chapters and about seventy articles and communications in national and international journals and conferences. He is, currently, the Coordinator of the Bachelor's Program on Environmental Engineering.
