Biography

Jorge Buele was born in Loja, Ecuador, in 1993. He holds a master's degree in integrated management systems (Spain, 2021) and a Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from the University of Zaragoza (Spain, 2025). He is an electronic engineer and currently works as a professor at Universidad Indoamérica. He is the president of the Network for Education and Emerging Technologies (EDUTEM) and a member of IEEE.

His research focuses on the application of virtual reality for cognitive training and the use of emerging technologies in education. He has coordinated multiple research projects exploring immersive environments, cognitive and motor rehabilitation, and educational technologies. His interests include automation, immersive environments, and cognitive and motor rehabilitation.
