Biography

Sivanagaraja Tatinati earned his Bachelor of technology at Acharya Nagarjuna University, India, in 2010 and his PhD from Electrical engineering of the Kyungpook National University, Daegu, South Korea, in 2016. After completing his PhD, Tatinati accepted a position as a Post-doctoral fellow at School of computer science engineering of Kyungpook National University. Since 2017, he is working as a research fellow at the school of electrical and electronics engineering of Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. His research interest span across robotics, computational social sciences, and machine learning techniques. Most of his work has been on developing computational tools or understanding how the substantive scientific questions (especially in social networks) should drive the data analysis. In the Robotics arena, he developed algorithms for bio-medical time-series modeling and forecasting with applications to microsurgery, radiotherapy, and wearable sensors. In the computational social sciences area, he developed new modeling techniques to take leverage on the availability of vast digital data and generated novel insights into individual learner and collective learners’ behavior in academic and industrial settings. In addition, he has developed renewable energy forecasting techniques and has examined the effect of non-stationarity on the modeling. Based on the analysis focused on surgical robotics, social sciences, and data networks, he is currently working on the effect of variances and translations in the unstructured data in time series modeling with machine learning techniques. As of 2017, he has authored over 30 referred publications including the publications in IEEE transaction of Industrial electronics, and IEEE transactions on Cybernetics etc. Furthermore, Google scholar reports over 100 citations with h-index of 5. He is a reviewer for serval IEEE, and Elsevier journals.
