Biography

Elsa Ronningstam, Ph.D is Associate Clinical Professor at Harvard Medical School and a psychologist at McLean Hospital, Gunderson Outpatient Program for treatment of personality disorders. She is a psychoanalyst and a faculty at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute. She is also a member of the Boston Suicide Study Group which focuses on understanding and treating suicidality. She is the former President of ISSPD and over the past 35 years she has specialized on studies and treatment of pathological narcissism and narcissistic personality and contributed to progress in the field through conference presentations and over hundred publications.
