Biography

Krishan Chand is a postdoctoral research associate at the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Material Science, University of Pittsburgh. His research interests lie predominantly in understanding turbulent convection, stratified atmospheric boundary layer, and reduced-order modelling. He uses Direct Numerical Simulation (DNS) and Large Eddy Simulation (LES) techniques to simulate the flows.
