Biography

Kia ora! I'm researching the gig economy in Aotearoa, based at Massey's Center for Culture-Centered Approach to Research and Evaluation (CARE).

I completed my PhD in Communication and Journalism at Massey in 2018, and since then have gained four years of tertiary teaching experience on Massey's Bachelor and Master of Communications, while pursuing research in digital media's effects on work and democracy.

In June 2021 I was awarded the MBIE Science Whitinga Fellowship, through which I work as a research fellow for the School of Communications, Journalism and Marketing at Massey.
