Biography

Dr. Nora M Basurto-Santos is a Researcher at the University of Veracruz, Mexico. Her research focuses on EFL and Spanish as a Foreign or Second language teaching and learning in public schools and universities, and foreign language policy and planning. She teaches courses on research and sociolinguistics on the BA and MA in TEFL, and on the PhD in Language Studies and Applied Linguistics. She has undertaken research with colleagues in Mexico and other countries and is the leader of a research group in her university.
