Biography
Huiling Chen is currently a professor in the College of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at Wenzhou University, China. He received his Ph.D. degree in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Jilin University, China. His present research interests centre on evolutionary computation, machine learning, data mining, and their applications to medical diagnosis, bankruptcy prediction, and parameter extraction of the solar cell. With over 30,000 citations and an H-index of 93, he is included in the 2022/2023 Global Scholars Academic Influence Rankings, the 2020/2021 list of Highly Cited Chinese Researchers, the top 200 Chinese computer scientists as recognized by Guide2Research (https://guide2research.com/u/huiling-chen), and consecutively ranking in the global top 2% of scientists list from 2021 to 2023. He has been recognized as a national-level youth talent and has been awarded numerous prestigious titles such as the "Top Young Talents" under the Zhejiang Province's Ten Thousand Talent Program, the second batch of "Zhejiang Provincial University Leading Talent Training Plan" for high-level outstanding talents, and the "551 Talent Project" of Wenzhou City. He also holds the distinguished title of Oujiang Professor at Wenzhou University. He is currently serving as the co-editor-in-chief of Computers in Biology and Medicine, and the editorial board member of Scientific Reports, Computational and Mathematical Methods in Medicine. He has published more than 200 papers in international journals and conference proceedings, including IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology, IEEE System Journal, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, Information Sciences, Future Generation Computer Systems, Pattern Recognition, Expert Systems with Applications, Knowledge-Based Systems, International Journal of Intelligent Systems, PAKDD, and others. He has more than 40 ESI highly cited papers and 10 hot cited papers.
