Biography

I`ve been interested on how photochemical and bacterial degradation interact to promote DOC degradation. Besides, I`ve been studying photochemical degradation in the tropics and have already found extremely high photochemical degradation rates.
Currently I`m interested in how microbial metabolism and biomass stoichiometry interact to cycle nutrients in the water and also how they interact with microbial community composition.
