Biography

Sam Shah is Honorary Chair and Professor of Digital Health within the Faculty of Future Health, College of Medicine and Dentistry with Ulster University. He is Chief Medical Strategy Officer for Numan, Chief Clinical Digital Advisor for Orcha and board advisor within healthcare and technology. He is a clinician and previously Director of Digital Development for NHS England. He has a background in primary healthcare, public health and research. His main focus is using digital technology to help enable access to health services; optimise the citizen experience; whilst improving system efficiency. Sam has overseen the development of NHS 111 Online in England. Sam has an interest in digital health, clinical leadership and public health.
