Biography
Educationalist and researcher with more than 16 years of experience whose research areas are public health, social pharmacy, health services research, determinants of health and pharmacy education. Under these themes, he is expertise in qualitative and quantitative methods. Much of his work has been on understanding perceptions and behaviours of the patients, public, healthcare professionals and health care students mainly through the application of focus group discussions, in-depth interviews, survey questionnaire, inferential statistics, and evaluation. He has explored the implications of epidemic infections and how healthcare professionals respond to them during emergencies. He is also investigating the implications of the pharmacist's workforce for the design of scalable and effective pharmaceutical care. In addition, he has made contributions in technology-enhanced learning and education research and he has examined the impact of them among pharmacy and healthcare students. In the social pharmacy and public health research, he has focused on the analysis of social and economical determinants to provide a quality outcome for the beneficiaries.
