Biography

Dr Adith Venugopal is currently a Clinical Instructor and Associate Professor of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the University of Puthisastra, Phnom Penh, Cambodia & an Adjunct Associate Professor of Orthodontics at Saveetha Dental College and Hospitals, Chennai, India. He has also been appointed as an Adjunct Professor of Orthodontics at the Narsinhbhai Patel Dental College & Hospital, Visnagar, Gujarat, India.

He holds a private practice at Pachem Dental Clinic, Phnom Penh where he practices exclusive Labial, Lingual & Aligner therapy. Dr Adith Venugopal has completed his Ph.D. in Orthodontics from Kyungpook National University, South Korea He has completed his Clinical M.S. with an Outstanding Graduate Student Award in Orthodontics from the University of the East (2014), Manila. He earned a bachelor’s degree in dentistry (B.D.S.) (Honors) from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India.

He has spoken as the keynote speaker at several orthodontic congresses and published a number of clinical reports and research studies in peer-reviewed international journals. To obtain the highest standards in clinical, research, and teaching abilities, he has conducted seminars and courses on TAD-based biomechanics all around the world. He is now the youngest fellow of two esteemed organizations, the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the International College of Dentists. Additionally, he is a fellow and member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, Glasgow & Edinburgh. He is now the associate editor of Seminars in Orthodontics, the assistant editor of APOS-Trends in Orthodontics, and the co-editor of the journal Keiferorthopadie—International Orthodontics. He is also a member of the editorial boards of the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics and Orthotown magazine.
