Biography
Paolo Ciancarini is Professor of Computer Science at the Department of Informatics of the University of Bologna,
where he lectures on Software Engineering and Distributed Systems.
His research interests include:
software engineering, knowledge engineering and artificial intelligence,
distributed and autonomous systems,
semantic publishing,
and entertainment computing.
He has been involved in several research projects funded by the European Commission.
He has published more than 80 research papers in peer reviewed international journals and books, and more than 200 papers in International Conferences and Workshops.
