Biography

Dr. Hussein Samh Al-Masroori is an Associate Professor in the Department of Marine Science and Fisheries and Head of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation Unit in the College of Agricultural and Marine Sciences at Sultan Qaboos University. He holds a PhD in fisheries development and management. His research interest includes exploitation methods & their impacts on marine environment, socio-economic aspects of the fisheries sector and fisheries management & sustainable development. He has worked in many research grants and consultancies and produced more than 40 scientific articles and conference communications. He is teaching several and wide fisheries-related and service courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and serving in many different committees at SQU and at national levels.
