Biography

I have general interest in understanding the underlying mechanism of host-pathogen interactions of fungi. Primarily my research focuses on investigating the underlying mechanisms conveying pathogenesis, virulence and specificity of Metarhizium anisopliae for use in mosquito control. Through this research I have developed a keen interest in investigating how fungal species have evolved to exploit the environments they are subjected to, to obtain nutrients and develop.
