Biography
I am a BBSRC Future Leader Fellow, my background is molecular epidemiology and my work focuses on dynamics at the human-animal interface in Africa. I am currently focusing on the molecular basis of antimicrobial resistance development and dissemination at the human-animal interface. I have however previously worked on the molecular characteristics, evolution and diagnostic challenges of tuberculous and non tuberculous mycobacteria recovered at the human-animal interface in various African countries.
