Biography

I studied Physics; in particular, my scientific research is centered around optics and photonics. My current research involves mid-infrared photonics, ultrafast lasers, frequency combs, and nonlinear optics. My passion is the generation of novel laser light sources and the establishment of precision detection schemes to tackle various scientific and societal challenges, such as refined molecular spectroscopy, climate change, healthcare, and many more.
