Biography

Experienced Data and Clinical Scientist with excellent leadership skills, creativity, and a solid understanding of the, medical, academic, and corporate worlds.

As the Senior Research Scientist at the McGill Refractive Surgery Research Unit, and as the Director of research and development at LASIK MD and Vision Group Canada, I manage and oversee corporate and academic research projects in more than 40 Canadian large volume refractive surgery clinics.

Working with massive datasets, my goal is to create new clinically-meaningful knowledge while maximizing surgical outcomes and minimizing risks, leading to increased customer satisfaction, growth, and scientific publications. I also improve and automate business and scientific processes by creating software and digital tools.

I am most interested in the eye from the cornea to the retina, and in developing and applying best clinical practices and the finest scientific approaches to the field of ophthalmology and other medical specialties.
