Biography

Dr. Anass Benayad, completed his Ph.D in physico-chemistry of condensed matter from university of Bordeaux at the Institute of Chemistry and Condensed Matter of Bordeaux (ICMCB) under the supervision of Pr. Alain Levasseur and Dr. Daniel Gonbeau (Pau University).
From 2006 to 2013, he was senior researcher at Samsung Advanced Institute of technology (SAIT), where he was in charge of different projects related to band gap engineering for battery electrodes, 2D-materials (structured carbon and MoS2), and semiconductor materials for thin film transistors for LCD technology.
Dr. Anass BENAYAD, is senior researcher at CEA since 2013 at the department of nanomaterial and nanotechnology. He is developing new activities around operando studies of redox process and electrolyte degradation mechanism in lithium ion batteries.
