Biography

Dr Daniel Opotamutale Ashipala (PhD) is a full-time senior lecturer and Head of Department for the School of nursing and Public Health (SoNPH), in the Faculty of Health Sciences and Veterinary Medicine (FHSVM) at the University of Namibia in Namibia. His responsibilities include teaching and supervision of postgraduate students and Research Methods modules. He has published a quite number of articles on the delivery of teaching and learning in higher education studies. He completed his Doctor of Philosophy with Stellenbosch University in Cape Town, South Africa. His doctoral work focuses on developing a framework to facilitate the implementation of a task shifting approach for nurses in the Namibia PHC services.
