Biography
Doctor in Psychology, Msc in Sexual and Reproductive Health at El Bosque University and specialist in Applied Statistics, professional in Psychology from the National University of Colombia, in Bogotá. Since 2005, he has been a professor of the subjects Psychometry, Statistics, Methodology, and Logical Thinking at the undergraduate level. Other courses of her teaching experience were Health with a Gender Perspective, Suicide Prevention and the Promotion of Sexual and Reproductive Health. He completed his doctoral internship in 2019 at the University of California, Los Angeles, United States with the support of the Foundation for the Advancement of Psychology and the advice of doctors Ilan Meyer and Carlos Santos. He investigates the variables that affect the mental health of the young population self-identified as LGBTI + that generate self-stigma, endodiscrimination and affect their general well-being.As of 2015, he is classified as a Junior Researcher by Minciencias, an entity that financed his Doctorate, which ended in 2020 with a thesis distinguished as 'Summa Cum Laude' for its high social impact.
