Biography

I am an Italian astrophysicist. I worked in The Netherlands, United States of America, Germany, and United Kingdom, then obtained a permanent research position in Italy. My research interests include the formation and evolution of galaxies, the nature of dark matter, and alternatives theories of gravity. I use multi-wavelength observations (from radio to X rays) to dissect galaxies into their main constituents: gas, stars, and the mysterious dark matter.
