Jagdish Khubchandani has been a member of Ball State University since 2010 and was selected to serve as an inaugural Faculty Fellow for the Ball State Global Health Institute (2011-2012). He is also serving a term of 3 years as an Associate Editor for Health Promotion Practice, Chief Technical Editor for Journal of Family Medicine and Primary Care, Editorial Board Member of Health Educator, and Faculty Mentor for Undergraduate Journal of Service Learning and Community-Based Research.
Dr. Khubchandani’s research expertise is in the areas of violence prevention, childhood maltreatment, global health, and clinical epidemiology. His research has been published in very prestigious scientific journals like the Journal of School Health, Patient Education and Counseling, Headache, Journal of Community Health, Pediatrics, Current Pain and Headache Reports, Journal of American College Health, World Medical and Health Policy, Academic Psychiatry, Archives of Psychiatric Nursing, American Journal of Health Studies, and the Global Journal of Infectious Diseases. More recently, his research has also been highlighted by popular media outlets like Fox News, US News and World Report, CNBC, Yahoo News, Reuters Health, and the Chicago Tribune.
