Biography

Born and raised in Manila, I studied Chinese language and culture in Hong Kong, and Philosophy in Rome (Licentiate) and Taipei (PhD). I joined The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2017 to lecture on philosophy and ethics, then to work on research and development projects for undergraduate service-learning and community engagement.
Bi-cultural perspective and interdisciplinary approach mark both my teaching style and scholarship. Areas of research interest include early Confucian Thought, Aristotle, Metaphor, Comparative Philosophy, and academic service-learning.
Academic pursuits aside, I am into educational and community projects, outdoor sports, socializing, cooking, stargazing ... (the list goes on!)
