Biography
Rahman Shiri, MD, PhD, MPH, Adjunct Professor is a medical doctor and an experienced epidemiologist. He has received education and training in medicine, biostatistics, epidemiology, and public health. He works at the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health in Helsinki, Finland. His main research has looked at the aetiology and prevention of musculoskeletal and mental disorders. He has served on several editorial boards and is ranked as the fifth leading expert in carpal tunnel syndrome and the 17th leading expert in sciatica in the world on expertscape.com and is also a four-time winner of the best back study of the Finnish Back Research Society. He has contributed to over 244 peer-reviewed scientific publications, being the first or sole author in 72 of these publications. His publications have been cited more than 145,000 times.
