Biography

I received the Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunication Engineering and the Master’s Degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Vigo in 2016 and 2018, respectively. Currently, I am pursuing Ph. D. in Telecommunicacions Engeneering.

In the last few years I took part in several cutting-edge research projects such as Veo5G, funded by the Spanish Centre for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI); SINCROS, funded by the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness within the RETOS project - COLLABORATION 2016 and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF); FastFlow5G, chosen in the first open call for proposals issued by the Orchestration and Reconfiguration Control Architecture (ORCA) project, funded by the European Union under the H2020 program; NextPerception, co-funded by the European Union under the H2020 program and national european funding agencies; and Facendo 4.0, which is financed within the framework of the Operational Program Feder Galicia 2014-2020.

My tasks in the projects in which I took part in the last years were within the frameworks of cellular technologies (specifically 5G New Radio and LTE), 802.11 networks, distributed and cloud computing systems, and Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision. I have been working with very novel technologies and mechanisms, which require research work and a high degree of innovation, and I have been contributing to the proposal of innovative solutions for the resolution of the complex challenges we have been facing. Moreover, this work has not only resulted in theoretical research results, but also led to technology transfer to the industrial sector through the development of functional prototypes.

My research interests include mobile and wireless networks and Artificial Intelligence.
