Biography

Khie Chen Lie, MD. PhD, a senior clinical medical staff and Lecturer in Faculty of Medicine University of Indonesia, Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo General Hospital di Jakarta- Indonesia. He received his bachelor’s degree from University of Indonesia in 1994, Master degree of Internal Medicine and Consultant of Infectious Diseasese in 2003 and 2006. He achieved Ph.D degree from same University in 2014.

Beside his routine acitivity as infectious diseases Physician in academic Hospital in preparing and address lectures, teaching and examine the medical student; He also actively involved in some research studies. In year 2005-2007, as co-investigator of clinical trial ofLevofloxacin and Ciprofloxacin XR on treatment of Typhoid Fever. He and his collagues performed some sepsis studies on Procalcitonin, Lactate, intracellular signaling and heparin in 2013-2015. Local Indonesia investigator of ANSORP (Asian Network for Surveillance of Resistant Pathogens) in 2009-2010. And investigator of INA RESPOND (Indonesia Research Partnership on Infectious Diseases) and SEACRN South East Asia Clinical Research Network from 2014 to 2018.

In medical professional organization he also actively participate as executive committee of Indonesian Association of Tropical Medicine and Infectious Diseases and Indonesian Association of Internal Medicine; member of European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases and International Society of Infectious Diseases. In field of antimicrobial stewardship as the member of National Committee of Antimicrobial Control Program.
