Biography
Cum laude PhD with International mention in Economic and Business Analysis (University of A Coruña -UDC- 2019), I am currently Full-time Assistant Professor in the area of Marketing, where I have been teaching since 2015 in undergraduate, graduate and Master's degrees trought both, theoretical and practical sessions in Spanish and English.
My research interests focus on socio-tech innovation, social economy, donation-based crowdfunding, and sustainability all from the perspective of Social Marketing. I have participated in international and national research projects as researcher: ITSSOIN-'Social Innovation and Civic Engagement', European Commission, 7th Framework Programme / 2014-2017; and 'Marketing and Social Innovation: consequences of business-nonprofit cooperation agreements on the welfare of society', ECO2013-46391-R / 2014-2016. Nowadays I am participating as well in the national research project 'Value co-creation in Social Enterprises. Effects from the omnichannel strategy', PID2019-109580RBI00 / 2020-2023. Resulting from this research performance, I have published as co-author in indexed journals, books, and reports of publishers as Routledge, Springer, and Fundación CYD, and presented researching results in more than twenty international congresses. In the same line, I have also visited the University of Westminster, the University of Oviedo, and the Polytechnic Institute of Porto as visiting predoc researcher.
Member of the 'Jean Monnet Group on Competition and Regional Development in the European Union' since 2013, and of the 'Interdisciplinary Educational Innovation Group on Social Responsibility and Innovation +Sustainability (RIS+S)' of the UDC, since 2017.
As Vice-Dean of Students and Communication at the Faculty of Economics and Business, I have performed managerial taskes and activities since 2017 to 2019; and as Head of the Technical Secretariat of the INDITEX-UDC Chair of Sustainability, I was likewise in charge of conducting technical and administrative taskes between 2013 and 2015.
Outside academia, I have held different positions in businesses and social organizations in A Coruña and London (UK).
With a Degree in Sociology, I have postgraduate studies in Social Responsibility and Innovation, Labor Relations, and Human Resources Management, from both the University of A Coruña and the University of Santiago de Compostela.
