Biography

Michael V. Vitiello, PhD is an internationally recognized expert in sleep, circadian rhythms and sleep disorders in aging. His NIH funded research focuses on the causes, consequences and treatments of disturbed sleep, circadian rhythms and cognition in older adults. He is the author of 500+ scientific publications. He is Past-President of the Sleep Research Society, Past-Chair of the Sleep Disorders Research Advisory Board, NIH, and Editor-in-Chief of Sleep Medicine Reviews.
