Biography

Alok Roy is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Geography, Krishnagar Govt. College, India. He did his M.Phil. in Population Studies at the Centre for the Study of Regional Development, Jawaharlal Nehru University(JNU), India. His research interests include Maternal & Child Health, Ageing, Family Demography, Fertility, and Mortality issues. He is currently on Elderly Abuse among rural women in Indian villages.
