Biography

He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Regional Integrated University of Alto Uruguai and Missões (URI) (2018), a master's degree with a scholarship from the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) (2021) and a doctorate with a scholarship from the Human Resources Program (PRH) of the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) (2021 / II - 2025 / I), both from the Postgraduate Program in Chemical Engineering (PPGEQ) of the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM). He has experience in ​​​​lignocellulosic biomass conversion processes, pretreatments using green solvents and steam explosion, hydrolysis processes with subcritical, acidic, and enzymatic water, and hydrothermal liquefaction. He also has experience in the characterization of lignocellulosic biomasses and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography analysis for quantifying fermentable sugars, organic acids, and inhibitors.
