Biography

Zhili Li is currently a Professor in Chemical Engineering at Guangxi University, Nanning, China. Li received his Ph.D degree from South China University of Technology in Chemical Engineering in 2009. During 2015-2016, he worked as a Visiting Scholar in School of Engineering & Applied Sciences at Harvard University. His research interests are focused on the development of advanced sustainable materials using natural polymer as building blocks and their applications in water purification, membrane separation, controlled release, desalination, and catalytic conversion of biomass into chemicals, fuels. Dr. Li has published more than 50 papers in peer-reviewed journals, 6 highly cited papers, granted 8 patents, and served as a reviewer of various journals in Chemical/Environmental Engineering and Materials Science.
