Biography
Theodore A. Parasidis studied biology at the University of Patras in Greece.
He completed his PhD in Public Health from Laboratory of Hygiene and Environmental Protection in Medical School of Democritus University of Thrace.
His research areas of interest are public health, epidemiology, environmental protection and molecular biology.
He worked as Phd Biologist at Regional Public Health Laboratory of Eastern Macedonia & Thrace Region of Hellenic Centre for Diseases Control and Prevention.
He was also postdoctoral research fellow in the Laboratory of Medical Microbiology at Democritus University of Thrace in Greece.
At last he worked as Epidemiologist in the programme “PHILOS – Emergency health response to refugee crisis” of the Greek Ministry of Health implemented by the Hellenic Center for Disease Control and Prevention (HCDCP). The programme PHILOS introduces a comprehensive approach regarding the provision of health services to refugee’s population.
