Biography

I performed her B. Sc. and M. Sc. studies in Russia, in D. I. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russian Academy of Sciences and Moscow State University. During the summer of 2010, I was a trainee in the laboratory of organic synthesis of Professor Karol Grela in Poland where I had the opportunity to work on the synthesis of new complexes of ruthenium for applications in the metathesis transformation.

My Ph. D. studies have been carried out under the supervision of professors Frédéric-Georges Fontaine and Freddy Kleitz of Laval University in Quebec city, where I successfully defended a thesis on July 13th, 2017. My principal research area was oriented toward the development of heterogeneous catalysts for applications in green chemistry, the capture, and transformation of carbon dioxide.

During the last 7 years, I published numerous publications related to the organic synthesis of carborane-derivatives, the design of functionalized mesoporous materials for the direct amidation of fatty acids and for the synthesis of the cyclic carbonates. In addition, I had a chance to supervise undergraduate students during their summer internships, worked as professor assistant at the Department of Chemistry and Ste-Foy College. After graduation, I worked as a research professional in the laboratory of Prof Fontaine at Laval University until I got the position of R&D Chemist at OLEOTEK where I work since January 2018.
