Biography
Dr. Chen is currently an Assistant Professor in the School of information and software Engineering at University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC). He was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON, Canada, from 2015 to 2017. He was also a postdoctoral fellow in the School of information and software Engineering at UESTC, from 2014 to 2015. He received the B.Sc. degree in 2005 and the M.Sc. degree in 2009 from Neijiang Normal University and Sichuan University, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in information and communication engineering from UESTC in 2014. His current research interest includes Physical Layer Security, Information-theoretic Security, Data Mining, Machine Learning and their applications in wireless network security and wireless communication.
Dr. Chen served as guest editors for Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing (Special Issue: Physical Layer Security for Internet of Things), Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing (Special Issue: Emerging Technologies for Vehicular Communication Networks), and International Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks (Special Issue: Sustainable Cognitive Radio Sensor Networks). He also serves/served as a TPC Member for IEEE Globecom2017, IEEE WPMC2017, Globecom2018, IEEE VTC2018, IEEE WF-5G, and IEEE ICC2019.
