Biography

João Víctor Melo graduated from the University of Espírito Santo (UFES), campus in São Mateus, as a chemical engineer in 2018. He is currently a master’s student in the Department of Chemical System Engineering (DESQ) at the School of Chemical Engineering (FEQ) at the University of Campinas (Unicamp). The main focus of his Master’s - with emphasis on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Microfluidics, and Fortran programming language - involves developing a numerical code to predict some fluid dynamics parameters, such as velocity, mass fraction and pressure fields, along a micromixer. Likewise, geometry configurations are analyzed in order to intensify the mixing index inside the device by proposing a high vorticity of flow.
