Biography

Caterina Garcia-Segura is Full Professor of International Relations at University Pompeu Fabra (UPF) in Barcelona, Spain. Since May 2022 she is the Ombuds Officer at the same university. Associate faculty of IBEI (Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals). President of the Spanish Association of Professors of International Law and International Relations (AEPDIRI) 2017-2021. Her research interests are the change and evolution of norms and institutions of the International order, the role of non-state actors in international relations and in security issues, and the tension between cosmopolitanism and comunitarism.
