Biography

PhD in Entomology and Acarology, with a scientific production focused on the biology and ecology of invasive insects and vectors of emerging diseases. Senior Researcher "C" in the group of Arthropod Ecology and Pest Management from El Colegio de la Frontera Sur in Tapachula, Chiapas, México. He has published articles related to biological pest control and the search for natural enemies of pests of agricultural and medical importance in tropical areas. Experience in the classic biological control of pests in tropical crops, with emphasis on the use of parasitoids and nematodes. He has been a professor of postgraduate courses and director of bachelor's, master’s, and doctoral theses. Articles, recreational activities, and training courses are included among the activities he has carried out to socialize entomological science.
