Biography
Elena BUELOW is a postdoctoral researcher at the Translational Innovation in Medicine and Complexity (TIMC) laboratory at the University-Grenoble-Alpes (Grenoble, France). Her research is specialized in the study of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in the human gut, the hospital, and other environments impacted by humans and their activities. Her research currently focuses on environmental biofilms that form in the hospital environment (sink and shower drains) and hospital and urban wastewaters, as hotspots for the dissemination of AMR. She is also a member of the PROMISE AMR-Env network.
