Biography

Dilupa is an Associate Professor of Management and the Associate Dean of Graduate Studies at the School of Business, Western Sydney University (WSU). She has strong expertise in supply chain, technology and innovation management. She possesses a diverse and rare research skillset spanning both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including the case study method, fuzzy expert systems, genetic algorithm, and structural equation modelling. She has published her research in top-tier research journals and received competitive research grants from the Australian Research Council and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Australia and consulted UNESCO through her work for the latest World Science Report. Prior to joining academia, Dilupa was at IBM World Trade Corporation for over eight years, holding engineering, IT management and business management responsibilities. She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) from the Project Management Institute (PMI), USA, a certified PRINCE2 practitioner, and a trained Design Thinking Practitioner. She completed PhD in Innovation Studies in 2011, MBA in Management of Technology in 2005, BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Honors (First Class) in 1999.
