Biography

Medical Doctor and Translational Researcher with a strong Physician-Scientist profile, currently performing both clinical work (Clinica Universidad de Navarra) and leading an emerging basic research group (CIMA- University of Navarra. Professor at the Medical School of the University of Navarra. Part of the Department of Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutrition at the University of Pittsburgh as an Adjunct Assistant Professor. Main current research interests include: liver cancer, mechanisms of immune evasion, ER stress, biomarkers of response to IO, Alcohol-induced immune tollerance.
