Biography

Bendong Tan (S'18) received the bachelor and M.S. degrees both in electrical engineering from Wuhan University (WHU), in 2017 and 2020, respectively. He is now pursuing the Ph.D. degree from the University of Connecticut from 2022. His research interests include power system estimation, monitoring and stability control.

He was a recipient of the Outstanding Reviewer of IEEE Transactions on Power Systems in 2021 and 2022, Best Journal Paper Award of International Journal of Electrical Power & Energy Systems in 2022, the Best Conference Paper Award from IEEE Power & Energy Society General Meeting (GM) in 2021, 2022 and 2023, the Best Conference Paper Award from 11th International Conference on Innovative Smart Grid Technologies (Asia) in 2022.
