Biography
Diamantis Klimentidis is a clinical pharmacist. He holds a BSc in Pharmacy from Athens School of Pharmacy, an MSc in Clinical Pharmacy from Queen's University Belfast, and an MSc in the Management of Ageing and Chronic Diseases from the Medical School of Thessaly and the Hellenic Open University. In addition, he is certified in the design and implementation of antimicrobial stewardship programs by the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists.
Since 2010, he has been working at the St. Catherine's Psychiatric Clinic as the head of the hospital pharmacy, while providing clinical pharmacy services, specializing in optimizing pharmacotherapy of chronic somatic diseases, pharmaceutical care of psychogeriatric patients, and rational use of antibiotics.
His website, https://clinicalpharmacist.gr, is a member of the World Health Organization's Vaccine Safety Net, and he has been a member of the Advisory Group of this working group since 2018.
Since 2016, he has been designing and delivering seminars as part of the continuing professional education of community pharmacists, both in person and through the asynchronous online training platform https://education.clinicalpharmacist.gr. At the same time, he delivers lectures in postgraduate programs of the Schools of Pharmacy and Medicine of the University of Athens and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
