Biography

Dr. Neha Agarwal is currently working as assistant professor in Department of Chemistry, Navyug Kanya Mahavidylaya, University of Lucknow, India. She had completed her Ph.D. from the University of Lucknow. She has qualified UGC-CSIR-NET Chemical Science and GATE-Chemical Science. She has published many research papers and review articles on environmental remediation, nanomaterials, etc. in journals of Scopus Indexed reputed journals. She has published 3 patents, and one has been granted among them. She has edited books with Nova Science Publishers, Benthem Science Publishers, Anu Books International Publishers, and authored one textbook for undergraduate students. She is an active member of various National and International bodies such as Association of Chemistry Teachers- India, Singapore National Institute of Chemistry, Royal Society of Chemistry, IUPAC-Affiliate member and also the editorial board member of various international, referred and peer reviewed journals. Her research interest includes the study the environmental impacts of vast variety of organic pollutants such as pharmaceuticals, dyes, pesticides and to find out those economically viable treatment techniques which degrade these pollutants into simple and non-toxic substances in an environmental-friendly manner to achieve a green and sustainable environment. Currently she is working in the field of environmental remediation including wastewater remediation with special focus on nanomaterials.
