Biography

Combining my passion for the ocean with my enjoyment of the sciences and creativity has always been a driving force in my education and ongoing research. This has fostered an innovative, intuitive and resourceful attitude that encourages collaboration and multidisciplinary research. Working with planktonic gastropods has allowed me to combine all of these attributes, working on the same topic but using diverse paths, from DNA barcoding to isotope geochemistry, palaeontology to 3D printing large-scale models of microscopic shells. This field of research has encouraged my continual learning and development and has great potential to grow in the future.
