Biography

Dr. Yousef Alshehre is a consultant physical therapist and associate professor, Department of Health Rehabilitation Sciences, Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences.
Head of Department of Assistance Medical Sciences, University of Tabuk, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.
Head of the Saudi Physical Therapy Association (SPTA), Tabuk.
His 14-plus-year career in physical therapy includes clinical practice, education, and training. His professional experience in physical therapy has focused on orthopedic physical therapy, working with adults in various outpatient settings. He received a B.S. degree in physical therapy from the Jordan University of Science and Technology, Jordan; an M.S. in musculoskeletal physical therapy from the University of Pittsburgh, USA; and a Ph.D. in physical therapy from Texas Women’s University, USA. In addition to being a licensed physical therapist, his research has examined the efficacy of therapeutic interventions for those with spinal pain. More recently, he has also been interested in the effect of telerehabilitation on chronic conditions and women's health.
